Kerry A. Garesché founded her firm in 2009. Kerry left an interesting, demanding corporate career to become an attorney. Her knowledge of the inner workings of complex business operations and corporate policy development is an advantage most other attorneys lack.

Kerry has successfully represented wrongfully terminated employees, breach of contract claims, probate claims, unit owner association disputes, will contests and sexual harassment cases. She has successfully mediated many other disputes.

Kerry regularly gives back to the legal community. She is invited by the American Bar Association to judge law school mock appellate trial competitions, and to judge law school negotiation competitions throughout the country. She has evaluated the strategic plans and operations of Cook County’s Juvenile Detention Center. And for nearly a decade, she has been appointed as a Planning and Zoning Commissioner for the Village of Mundelein.

In her free time, Kerry’s favorite thing to do is to spend time with family, especially her loving husband and two amazing sons (and a new daughter-in-law!), and to read American history. Of particular interest are the founders, the relationship between Lincoln’s legacy and Grant’s victories, civil war hero Lt. Col. Julius P. Garesche’, and most importantly, influential female leaders and legal scholars. Kerry has a special deep appreciation for Jane Grey Swisshelm, Pauli Murray, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and her Mom, Mary G. Amenta.
